Get to know me

Welcome to my website!

I’m Chloe, I’m 23 years old and I live in the West Midlands in the UK with my boyfriend Neil and our Sprocker puppy Del.

As you may have gathered I am a health and fitness enthusiast. I haven’t always had an interest in health and fitness – In May 2015 I weighed 113kg (250lb) and was seriously unhealthy, my diet consisted of continuous binge eating on McDonalds and takeaway pizzas, fanta orange, multipacks of biscuits and so on. I knew I needed to make a change but I just did not have the ‘kick’ to do it. When the doctor said my high blood pressure, nose bleeds and severe headaches were due to me being obese, it made me realise how much damage I was doing to my body and it gave me the kick-start I needed to change my lifestyle.

Fast forward to today, I have now lost and maintained 103lb (46kg) and I’m in the healthiest and fittest condition of my life! This was achieved by taking care of myself and living a healthy, balanced lifestyle – which I try to demonstrate in my blog posts.

Overcoming a bad relationship with food is tough, I do still have bad days now and then where I feel like eating everything in sight (and sometimes do so) but with a combination of motivation, determination and consistency I am able to follow a healthy lifestyle with still enjoying my favourite treats in moderation. Most importantly, I’ve realised that I’m in control and actually it is possible to create good habits to replace the bad ones.

2 years ago, anything related to fitness would have been my worst nightmare, the only exercise I did was walking to the fridge or dancing on Friday/Saturday nights in the club with a vodka (and then going home to eat a large pizza and chips). I intoduced fitness into my life gradually and today it’s a huge part of my life and I look forward to exercising. I train in several gyms in the West Midlands 5 days a week (mainly weight training) and I have weekly sessions with my personal trainer, Sophie. My long term goal is to compete in a body transformation category which I’m hoping to achieve over the next couple of years, so watch this space to see a future bikini competitor!

I’m also currently studying in my spare time to become a qualified Personal Trainer which I hope to achieve this year so I can help people who want to change their life like I changed mine.

Sooo, some non fitness things about me – I graduated Coventry University in 2016 with a 1st Class degree in Advertising and Business and I have since been working full time as a Marketing and Events Executive at TNT. When I’m not working or in the gym, I enjoy reading books and writing blogs, cooking and going to gigs. I love cats and the colour yellow. I don’t take myself seriously and I’m usually laughing 99% of the time! Oh and I have a huuuuuge sweet tooth (particular for anything white chocolate!).

Feel free to get in touch if you have any weight loss or fitness questions or even if you have any suggestions for future blogs!

  1. I also lost 67lbs and I had a condition same like you. But i realized that It is harmful for my body because breathing problem, fatigue was getting very common. I joined weight loss program, focused on healthy diet chart and workout too. Results were positive and I am fit now.
